International Workshop Weekend in Leipzig

We invite you to the IceLab Leipzig International Workshop Weekend,
March 19–22, 2026.

We’re looking forward to spending an extended weekend full of dance, unforgettable moments, and community with you! Get ready for an interdisciplinary workshop format featuring skate dance on synthetic ice and on real ice. From March 19 to 22, we will create a platform for international encounters, exchange, and networking in our IceLab Leipzig studios and at the Anona Icedome. There will be a jam session in the ice rink, and we invite you to our very first Open Stage on real ice with international dancers.

All workshops can be booked individually via our website. If you book the full weekend pass—which includes participation in all workshops and free access to the jam session in the ice rink—you’ll receive a discount.

We are calling all our international guests — we’re thrilled to see you perform!

We are looking for dancers on skates for IceLab Leipzig’s first international Open Stage on real ice, taking place on March 21, 2026.
Are you in? We are still looking for contributions.

Details:

  • We are seeking performances on real ice with a maximum duration of 10 minutes.
  • At the moment, we can offer basic lighting and sound (headset microphone) only.
  • Time & location: Open Stage on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 6:30–9:00 pm at the ANONA ICEDOME, Leipzig.

We are looking for dancers driven by passion, with bodies as voices and expressions.

Wir laden ein zum IceLab Leipzig International Workshop Weekend,

Wir freuen uns auf ein verlängertes Wochenende voller Tanz, unvergesslicher Momente und Community mit euch! Macht euch bereit für ein interdisziplinäres Workshopformat aus Kufentanz auf Kunststoffeis und auf Echteis. Vom 19. bis 22. März schaffen wir eine Plattform der internationalen Begegnung, des Austauschens und des Netzwerkens in unseren IceLab Leipzig Studios und im Anona Icedome. Es wird eine Jam-Session in der Eishalle geben und wir laden ein zu unseren ersten Open Stage on real Ice mit internationalen Tänzer:innen.

Wir suchen nach Tänzer:innen auf Kufen für die erste internationale Open Stage des IceLab Leipzig auf Echteis am 21.März 2026.
Bist du dabei? Wir suchen noch nach Beiträgen.
Konkret:
-> suchen wir Performances auf Echteis mit max. 10 Minuten Länge.
-> Aktuell können wir dafür nur basic Licht und Sound (mit Headset) bieten.
-> Zeit und Location: Open Stage am Samstag, 21.03.26, 18:30-21:00 im ANONA ICEDOME, Leipzig.
Wir such nach Tänzer:innen aus Leidenschaft, mit Körpern als Stimmen und Ausdruck. Wenn du dich angesprochen fühlst, los geht’s! Wir freuen uns von dir zu hören und auf einen gemeinsamen und unvergesslichen Abend!
